As a father with two young children, I’m concerned about the long-term consequences of decisions made by our elected officials.

California faces $617 billion of debt, our economy is shaky, and our education system is failing to prepare our children for the 21st Century.

It’s time to put the people first — not special interests.

As your State Senator, I will work hard to:

  • Reform Public Education to restore our future promise by increasing local control, parental discretion, and rewarding good teachers while removing bad ones.
  • Eliminate red tape for small businesses to allow job growth through balanced policies that preserve our quality of life.
  • Keep felons off our streets to secure our peace of mind by repealing the poorly drafted realignment program that is letting felons out early.

I'm results driven, having come from a lifetime of public service as a Marine Corps officer and Deputy District Attorney. I’ll bring that philosophy with me to restore confidence and the promise of what California ought to be. I humbly ask for your vote on November 6th.

Best Regards,
